Paintastic News Story #2 – ‘Fus1on’ student art show

Fresno State held its exhibition for the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, displaying the senior portfolios for its graduating students.

This year’s exhibition was titled “Fus!on” and it ran from March 12-20. It held it’s opening reception on March 12. According to The Collegian, this was followed by a “professional night,” where industry professionals were invited to the exhibition to view the work and interact with the students.

The exhibition provided a space for three different art disciplines: graphic design, multimedia and illustration

The displays at the exhibition showed a variety of media, ranging from drawings and prints to sculptures and video.

We met three of the artists at the exhibition and asked about their experiences setting up the exhibition and being Fresno State art students.
